Linen Squares

The display of textile art has many options and with these linen squares I aim to provide several simple choices. Although I only frame my smallest work, many of my textile pieces are eventually matted and framed. By incorporating the mat into the artwork I offer the option to stretch the linen and frame the piece, to window mat the artwork, cropping to a tight image, or to allow the piece to hang as it is.
The approximate size of each piece is 17” square of image on a 23” square of linen.
